ZOOLOGY & BOTANY

In Zoology we will study about different animals. We will have books, puzzles and different activities to introduce the children on the habitat of the animals. Whenever possible we will take the children on field trips to observe the animals.

The study of Botany involves studying about the significance of balance in nature. It teaches the child the responsibility towards the environment and how beneficial the plants and trees in the environment are to human life. We also give children the chance to water and care for plants outdoors and indoors. Through scientific experiments we show the children the important elements that aid the growth of plants. Through control experiments children clearly see the difference. Children get amazed to see a plant growing from a little seed. They realize plants and trees are living things just like us. Also, nature walks show children the changes in environment during different times of the year. We will be taking walks to observe these changes throughout the school year.
