OUR PHILOSOPHY

The school follows the teachings and teaching methods of Dr. Maria Montessori. She is widely known for her passion and method of educating young children. At Panorama Ridge we treat children with respect and kindness and allow them the freedom to explore while they learn. Our school is aesthetically pleasing and filled with interesting learning material to capture a child’s attention and further develop their abilities. At Panorama Ridge we focus on whole child development providing opportunity for sensorial development, practical life experiences, fine motor development, gross motor development, creativity, social studies, language arts and math concepts. We also go on nature walks and other locations for field trip during the year to enhance what we learn in class. We have a big backyard for gross motor activities. On rainy days the children have some time for gymnastics indoors.
